Today I finished (the preliminary 20 hrs) my 2nd of 4 blocks and within the next few days I hope to complete the prelim work on the other 2. I don't get down to Lakeville too often, but I birded the Cumberland Farms fields in Middleboro several years back....great SE Owl, RL hawk and sparrow location.Tom Pirrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12399923571288826319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2477450374210882700.post-84310242057701777672007-07-01T04:33:00.000-04:002007-07-01T04:33:00.000-04:00Hi Tom,That was a great first go you had at your b...Hi Tom,
That was a great first go you had at your breeding block. Here in PA we have been working a breeding bird atlas project for the last 4 years. I have been involved for the last 2 and have had a blast! I "own" 4 blocks and have helped out in a few others. I think you will learn a lot doing the atlasing. I grew up in southeast Mass, in a little town called Lakeville. When growing up there, I was the only birder I knew. I hope to get involved with the the Taunton/Middleboro CBC this year. I think it would be great to go back and be part of a CBC in my old stomping grounds!
Vern
(This is my 2nd attempt at commenting at your site, I don't think the 1st took, sorry if you get 2 comments)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
